SHAKAWE SAFARIS was established in 2006 as a game and breeding farm, only accommodating a few international and local hunters per year to enhance the genetic variety that we have in our animals today.

SHAKAWE SAFARIS is situated on the “Kransberge” which forms part of the Waterberg Mountain range in Thabazimbi, Limpopo, South Africa. SHAKAWE SAFARIS, part of SHAKAWE PRIVATE GAME RESERVE, includes a hunting area that covers 3 different (not adjoining) farms, spanning approximately 5000 hectares (12300 acres). This area is malaria-free and hosts over 35 different animal species available to hunt.
