SHAKAWE SAFARIS was established in 2006 as game/breeding farm, only accommodating a few international and local hunters per year to enhance the genetic variety that we have in our animals today.

SHAKAWE SAFARIS is situated on the “Kransberge” which forms part of the Waterberg Mountain range Thabazimbi, Limpopo South Africa. SHAKAWE SAFARIS part of SHAKAWE PRIVATE GAME RESERVE hunting area includes 3 farms covering approximately 5000 hectares (12300 acres), which is Malaria free and playing host to over 35 different animal species available to hunt.

2020 SHAKAWE SAFARIS wants to introduce more hunters to the area to keep the habitat of this incredible ecosystem of the Waterberg under control, and will do so for the upcoming years.
